Hello, bonjour !

My name is Cal and I’m a freelance French and English tutor. I work part time as a tutor for the Language Research and Development Group, an official supplier of French-as-a-second-language (FSL) tutoring ressources to the Government of Canada.

I hold a Masters degree in French Language, Literature, and Culture and a Bachelor’s degree in French and World History from the University of Victoria (British Columbia).

I provide tutoring services :

• Online (through Teams or Zoom).
• Anywhere in the world (based in Montréal, Canada).
• For adults (geered towards personal or professional settings).
• Using a practice-based approach informed by an awareness of the particular situation of immigrant learners.
• I am familiar with many world languages, such as Farsi, Japanese, Korean, and others and can customize my lessons to fit your native language.
